World was shock when two mobile community as electronics consumer giants namely Sony Phones Japan and Ericsson major player communication from Sweden decided to merger in one single name to collaborated produce mobile phones in 2001. Sony's consumer electronics expertise and Ericsson's technological leadership have brought tremendous change in the competitive communication sector. We have got some glorious handsets from the house of Sony Ericsson which are not only feature rich but also easy to maneuver. Funky swivels are also available but very few.

Sony Ericsson have consistently held their place within the top 5 mobile phone manufacturers for over 10 years, this is in no small part due to the vast range of new handsets that the manufacturer releases on an almost weekly basis.

Sony Mobile Phones Ericsson has given a great surprise to the mobile lovers with its launch of W-Series mobile handsets. 'W' stands for Walkman and are basically music oriented phones. The walkman music phones are equipped with highly impressive integrated music players that deliver awesome sound effect even at full volume. Most of the walkman phones carry music features like Mega Bass and PlayNow. Because of the lack of these power draining applications these phones hold some of the longest battery lives of the Sony Ericsson range, ideal for people who literally just take their mobile phone with them in case of emergency.

The top of the range Sony Ericsson models and probably the most known of all of their phones are the W-series Walkman devices, this is where Sony really has their input of years of manufacturing Sony Walkman products such as portable CD players and MP3 players.
These are music orientated mobile phones, starting with the W300i that is a low budget, flip phone offering Walkman applications for uploading music tracks from a PC and creating playlists, finishing with the Sony Ericsson W880i, a slim and stylish music phone featuring a 2.0 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and 3G support, it is at the very top of the W-series and a gadget hunters dream device.

'Sound' has got a new definition in the Sony Ericsson walkman phones. Crystal clear sound output is the trademark of these phones. Almost all the latest Ericsson mobile phone Sony are equipped with high resolution displays as well high resolution cameras. Picture quality is standard. Moreover, they are capable of recording quality videos. Connectivity tools like Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS, USB, PC Synchronization etc. are available in most of the Sony Ericsson mobile phones. Moving up the scale the next range of handsets encountered are the K-Series, these range from low specification, budget models with simple VGA cameras right through to 3.2 megapixel camera phones.
